Dr. Sawyer is married to his wife, Marilyn, an elementary school nurse. Together they have three adult children.

Dr. Sawyer received his DDS degree from Illinois University College of Dentistry in 1984. He has been the owner of Lakeshore Dental Associates since 1987. He has been voted Best American Dentist for the past four years. Dr. Sawyer has over 1500 hours of continuing education in dentistry and is a member of the following organizations.
